Digital Project / Account Manager
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently recruiting a Digital Project / Account Manager to join our dynamic agency based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
As a Digital Project Manager your role will encompass full client management with a diverse client base, assisting them in website, app, and software projects and delivery. The position encompasses three main responsibilities:
Project Leadership: As a vital member of the team, you will lead key projects that require hands-on involvement. You will also ensure smooth coordination between different project components and take overall responsibility for project outcomes. This role involves managing accounts that involve both digital marketing and software development aspects.
Client Service: At CDA, exceptional client service is fundamental to our success. You will need to be highly organised and efficient in your communication and documentation. Most importantly, you will need to be personable in your interactions with clients and colleagues. Building strong relationships is crucial, and you will be proactive in ensuring projects are delivered on time and maintaining excellent communication throughout.
New Business Support: You will work closely with Directors and other team members to develop cost estimates for pitches and new client projects as needed. You may also be required to participate in pitches, representing the strategic delivery team, explaining our processes, and embodying our client-focused approach.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day to day communication between the internal teams and your clients
- Uncover and understand client objectives, challenges, and needs to actively provide solutions for clients
- Build strong client relationships
- Develop digital strategies in tune with clients’ needs whilst working with design and software teams
- Scoping projects out with support of the wider team to create detailed statement of works, timelines, budgets and resource plans
- Overseeing/managing the full project life cycle from conception through to planning and implementation of website, app and software projects
- Use your digital knowledge to advise on performance, SEO, Web and any other tech related areas of projects in relation to Web projects
- Ensuring projects are kept on track within time and budget constraints
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and priorities tasks effectively
- Keen attention to detail/excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
DELIVERY
- Overseeing the delivery process from project initiation to conclusion
- Conducting scoping and requirements gathering, including wireframing and defining technical specifications
- Managing documentation and project reporting
- Facilitating production by liaising, briefing, and overseeing management
- Sharing expertise and knowledge within your specialised areas
- Demonstrating willingness to assist colleagues in problem-solving and understanding new requirements
- Maintaining keen awareness of colleagues’ skills and identifying opportunities for them to contribute value to projects
- Playing a crucial role in the pitch team as needed
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Skilled in scoping software solutions, writing technical requirements, and creating wireframes
- Experienced in eCommerce solutions, with desirable familiarity in Magento, WordPress, and Shopify
- Good understanding of digital marketing
- Capable of managing tight deadlines and juggling projects across various stages of the lifecycle
- Demonstrates exceptional client service skills
- Displays sensitivity towards client challenges and maintains a supportive attitude in providing solutions
- Engages collaboratively and excels in building both internal and external relationships
- Possesses strong communication and presentation abilities
- Organised and adept at multitasking
- Demonstrates business and commercial awareness
- Adaptable and flexible in style and approach
- Resilient, passionate, energetic, and driven
ABOUT YOU
- 4 years experience in project or account management in web, app, or software builds
- Strong understanding of software development and project management
- Understanding of digital marketing channels – PPC, Paid Social, SEO, CRM etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple brands at any one time
- Strong project management and organisation skills
- Strong reporting & analysis skills – Google Analytics
- Confident communicator and good presentation skills
- Agency experience preferable
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
SALARY
- Competitive and depending on experience (32K to £36K)
