Sea Magik is a brand in the Finders International portfolio, selling natural skincare products to customers and businesses worldwide. We had an ongoing relationship, working on offline marketing, exhibition stand design and strategy, as well as supporting their other websites, prior to starting this digital project. They managed a website for each customer type and wanted to move to a single system that connected with their CRM and product data platforms.
The new website would need to cater for trade and retail customer types, plus pull in data from other platforms. We ran multiple scoping sessions with Finders to work out the exact requirements, which we agreed to develop in a staged approach to help with the transition for the internal Finders team and their customers.
Being in the beauty industry, Finders wanted the content to lead the new website to educate and inform their customers about the benefits of their products. We created a striking design with configurable content blocks, allowing video and images to illustrate the content and draw users further into the website. In stages, we integrated various functions, including a trade account sign up and approval process with a credit limit and sample ordering functionality, as well as marketing tools such as a loyalty scheme and free gift rewards to help increase average order values.
